The oldest swimming marathon on the Adriatic has been held since 1910. The Šilo-Crikvenica swimming marathon is traditionally held on August 15, the feast of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, the patron saint of Crikvenica, on a fixed course from Šilo to Crikvenica, 3,500 m long.

The best swimmers from Croatia and abroad participate in the marathon every year, and all swimming enthusiasts can compete. Don't miss out on being part of this spectacular event, either as a participant or as a supporter of the competitors. A beautiful summer day, a blue sea full of swimmers and accompanying boats, fans in Crikvenica and Šilo.
